Diaz jr. is a heavyrock/punkmetal band based in Helsinki, Finland. The current incarnation of Diaz jr. was formed in 2004 by Kai Stjerna (vocals), Simo Muhonen (guitar), Arttu Lindholm (bass) and Samu Hakala (drums). With this lineup Diaz jr. released two demos, "Gradient" (2004) and "The Ladder" (2005). Samu left the band soon after the release of "The Ladder". The third demo "Lost Your Power On Us" (2005) was recorded with drummer Tommi Carttunen, who also played gigs with the band. After the third demo Diaz jr.
