HUMANWINE formed in New England in 2001. Holly Brewer and M@ McNiss Co-run Nervous Relatives Records formed in the summer of 2001. Kalifornia was released May 2005, followed by the 2006 EP Rivolta Silenziosa , both with the eLabel Cordless Recordings, started by the founder of Elektra, Jac Holzman. In the summer of 2007 when Cordless merged with Ryko HUMANWINE split off from Cordless Recordings, releasing Fighting Naked with Nervous Relatives Records.
