Raffaëla (birthname: Raffaëla Paton) is the winner of the Dutch version of American Idol ('Idols') season 3. Raffaëla was controversial since the start of the show, since she stated to be in love with judge Henk-Jan Smits. In a later show she reavealed it was a joke and 'Idols' didn't show the footage of her saying so. At the liveshows, she revealed to be pregnant, which infuriated judge Henk-Jan. This didn't hold her back, and eventually beat Floortje in the final. Her debut album 'Raffaëla' consisted mostly of covers and the winning single from 'Idols': Right Here, Right Now
