Sapient, a rare breed of emcee, is blessed with gifts of discernment and rhythm, has been a loyal member of the Sandpeople since the early developemental stages. Formerly a graffiti writer, he never could be fulfilled with only the visual arts, so with the help of musical inclination, things fell into place. In 2000 when he first focused his writing skills to hiphop, he had no colleagues. This struggle, lead him to become a producer out of necessity, and with no one to learn from he developed a very original understanding of beats, rhyme schemes and rhythmic intricacies.
