Ali Akgün was born in Istanbul in 1976. His family saw his interest in music and bought him a classical guitar as a gift. He received classical guitar training in Doğulu Müzik Evi till he was 10. At the time he bought an electric guitar as a result of Heavy Metal influence. In 1990 at the age of 14, he formed his Death Metal band named Andromeda, in which he was the vocalist and the guitar player. They performed in several festivals and concerts with many important heavy metal bands. Later Akgün took interest in other genres and left the band he formed and started to enjoy electronic music.
