Joseph Auer was born 1971 in Chicago, USA. Trained/Taught formally in vocal and piano. Piano lessons began at age 5 while vocal / choral training began at age 11. Educated at Bootham School York, UK. Took a degree in Interactive Arts at Newport under the tutalage of Roy Ascott and Richard Wiggins. Has been working in the IT sector since 1996. Currently he resides in Tokyo with his wife and daughter. Occupation is currently as a Unix Legacy Systems Administrator in Shibuya.
