Real songs, with choruses and everything. Unless the song doesn’t need one. There’s nods to the classics and winks to the contemporaries. There’s grim realities wrapped up in soaring melodies, there’s dreamlike sequences in four-time straightforwardness. There’s just... good songs. Parson Brown are a Dutch six-piece band that hails from the Utrecht region. They have been together in this line-up for two odd years, and will release their debut album The Farewell State in February of 2008.
