Tears of Magdalena was formed in Helsinki, January 2007. Actually the first five months the band name was 'Dream Liturgia', then we had several suggestions for the band name and Peuge finally decided the name 'Tears Of Magdalena'. The idea was to play gothic/symphonic/melodic metal, combining female classical singing with male growls. After one year of hard work all efforts were paid when we signed a deal with Scarlet Records.
