There is more than one artist using this name: 1)Desert was founded in 2002 in one of Israel's industrial and cultural centers, the city of Beer-Sheva. The name Beer-Sheva stands for "seven wells", the roots of the name and the city itself downcome to the pre-biblical era, approximately 4000-3500 b.c. There, in the heart of ancient culture, the creative union of guitarist Max Shafranski, drummer Den Kovalev, bassist Alexei "Kid" Surpin, Rem Kozlov (guitar) and Anna (female vocals) was born.
