John Olav Nilsen & Gjengen are a norwegian band from Loddefjord in Bergen. The band was created in 2007. They play a mixture of pop, rock, soul and punk which they like to refer to as "streetpop". All the lyrics are in Norwegian. The band consists of John Olav Nilsen (vocals), Andrew Amorim (drums), Lars Eriksen (guitar), Daniel Maranon (percussion), Tim Bjerke (bass) and Alastair Guilfoyle (keyboard/synthesizer).
