Flora Purim is a Brazilian jazz singer known mainly for her work in jazz fusion. She achieved her fame on Chick Corea's 1972 album, Return to Forever and recorded with various artists through that decade, including Stanley Clarke, Jaco Pastorius, and her husband, Airto Moreira. Flora Purim's voice has a range of at least four octaves.
The musicians she works with have always been as important as her in the performances.
