Sam the Kid (Samuel Martins Torres Santiago Mira), born in July 17th, 1979, is the most known, successful and prominent Portuguese rapper/producer. STK's debut album, Entre(tanto) (1999) was considered by all a mark to Portuguese hiphop culture. In 2001 Sobre(tudo) comes out. An album in which Sam the Kid shows a major improvement and musical maturation. In that same year (2001), he released an instrumental album entitled Beats Vol 1: Amor.
