Advent Sleep are a gothic rock / hard rock hybrid with electro overtones from the USA. "If Baudelaire had been fond of whiskey, he might have been a precursor to Advent Sleep. Evil, demented, and a hell of a lot of fun, Egos and Eros is a shameless celebration of warped passions in the key of rock and roll. But there's no pseudo-Satanic schlock here, just a mischievous revelry in the inventiveness of humanity's psychic underbelly, and catchy riffs by the coffin-full. Advent Sleep are definitely the un-death of the party.
