3rei Sud Est (also spelled 3 Sud Est or 3SE) was a dance music group from Romania. The group was formed in 1997. 3rei Sud Est was composed of three Romanian singers: Viorel Şipoş, Laurenţiu Duţă and Mihai Budeanu. They first started collaborating in 1993, when Laurenţiu Duţă performed at the Mamaia Festival as a solo singer and the other two provided choreography and back-up dancing. 3rei Sud Est’s 1997 debut Ai plecat, which defined their early trademark sound, became an instant success.
