Seminal Crescent City blues guitarist born Feb. 07, 1934 and died Apr. 17, 2003. Known mainly around his hometown of New Orleans, LA, where beginning in the 1950's, he recorded for the Drew-Blan, Imperial and other local labels. His early 70's session work is amongst his most acclaimed, produced by Allen Toussaint featured backing by the Meters.
