Rona Nishliu (born August 25, 1986 in Mitrovica, Kosovo, Dardania is an Kosovo-Albanian singer and radio presenter. Nishliu represents Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan after winning the national selection on December 29, 2011 with the entry "Suus". She is the first singer born in Kosovo to represent Albania in the contest. Rona was raised in the northern part of Mitrovica which currently is a political issue. At the age of thirteen her family moved to Kosovo's capital Prishtina due the political issues happening in Mitrovica.
