Curtis Jones is a Blues artist born in 1906 recording thirties to the sixties. Curtis played guitar, piano and vocals on recordings from 1936 to 1941, when the Second World War put a halt to his career. In 1953 he started to record again, it would be 1960 before his debut album was released, ‘Troubled Blues’. After a further album released in 1963 ‘Lonesome Bedroom Blues’ saw Curtis move to Europe where he released two more albums;1964 ‘Curtis Jones in London’ and 1966 ‘Now Resident In Europe’. Curtis Jones died in 1971 in Germany.
