Sofa is the name of five bands:
1. SOFA is a Poland-based roots/soul/funk/R&B group, winners of the 2006 Most Important Debut award in Poland. They sing mostly in English.
2. SOFA (not the CAPS) was also a Montreal-based band that was active from 1993 to 1997. They were memorably described as sounding "like Big Black and Slint meeting at a Joy Division tribute night."
3. Sofa, a Utah and Seattle based post-grunge funk band active through the 1990s, most known for their hit "Wings."
4. Sofa, a Thai band active from 2001.
