Carla Bozulich is a singer-songwriter. Her career started with L.A.'s provocative industrial dance outfit Ethyl Meatplow, but she is best known for her work with The Geraldine Fibbers. Since the Fibbers' split, she has produced several solo albums, and collaborated on several projects (particularly with experimental jazz guitarist Nels Cline) such as Scarnella. Always influenced by country music, in 2003 she rerecorded Willie Nelson's concept album Red-Headed Stranger, with Nelson's collaboration, to enthusiastic reviews.
