Dorus
Antoon (TOMs) Manders (The Hague, 24 October 1921 - Utrecht, 26 February 1972) was a Dutch artist, comedian and cabaret performer. In the last role he was particularly known as Dorus. As from 1953 Manders had been involved in the organization and programming of Carel Kamlag's revue-caférevue-café revue-café Saint-Germain-des-Prés to the Rembrandtple in Amsterdam. Manders then preformed himself as entertainer that would develop into the vagabond Dorus. When he got the invitation of the Vara (Dutch Broadcasting company) to do somthing for TV, he let the café get reconstructed in the studio.
