"Version" refers to the instrumental backing every reggae track. Traditionally, the track with artist would be on Side A of a 45-RPM record; the "riddim" version of same track would appear on Side B.
In modern times, where MP3s are much more popular than vinyl, the riddim appears at the end of a riddim release CD or MP3 release. 2. Version is a new project from Charles Webster and Martin 'Atjazz' Iveson.
