Formed in 1975 by saxophonist Bertus Borgers (formerly Mr. Albert Show) and Robert Jan Stips on keyboards (formerly Supersister) with Herman Deinum and Hans Lafaille as their rythm section (both formerly Cuby and the Blizzards) an Paul Smeenk on guitar, Sweet d'Buster was instantly a renowned ''supergroup'' in the Netherlands. They released three studio LP's and one live album, with the third (live) LP, ''Gigs'', being by far the most succesful. The band was disbanded in 1980 when record sales of their fourth album were dramatic. In 1992, they released a greatest hits CD, ''Magic Moments''.
