Axegrinder was a British crust band who combined elements of metal into their music. Originally formed in 1985, they called themselves Tyrants of Hate but changed their name to Axegrinder in 1986. Band split in 1991 with Steve, Trev and Darryn going on to form Wartech. Rise of the Serpent Men was reissued in 2006 on the Peaceville label.
