Doki Doki, a.k.a. Ruben Snellaars, is also a member of the improv-noise band R.R. His work can be defined as long harsh noise tracks. The improvised way of working results in layers of different sound textures: going from deep hypnotising drones to what he calls the "iiiiiiii" sound, with very harsh high tones which can be annoying as well as enjoyable. His first records are mostly 100% digital, created by running feedback loops in sound software. His later work is more analog orientated, working with guitar effects and manipulated materials like his circuit bended clock.
