Sutrastore was formed, in 2000, by Kaat Arnaert (beauty and vocals), Patrick Cherchye (vocals, guitar) and Christophe Calis (vocals, guitar, samples, synths and programming). Jan Delannoy (synths) and Jan Dirick (drums and percussion) joined the band a bit later. Sutrastore are working on producing their first album, with some demos available from their site, www.sutrastore.com. Sutrastore's trip-hop is soft and pleasant, sometimes nostalgic and depressive, with a wealthy instrumentation (taking advantage of acoustic and electronic elements) and magnificent vocals.
