Meindert Talma (born Surhuisterveen, The Netherlands, 02 November 1968) is a Dutch writer, keyboardist and singer/songwriter, who has recorded songs with lyrics in three different languages: Dutch, English and (his mothertongue) Frisian. He lives and works in the Dutch town of Groningen. In total, Talma released eight studio albums: six with his backing band The Negroes (see Meindert Talma & The Negroes) and two solo albums, under his own name.
