Formed in 1992 and unarguably New Zealands premier Hip-Hop group, Dam Native is a two man Hip-Hop group twisting lyrics that are sometimes Maori, sometimes political, but always phat. They have one album currently, entitled 'Kaupapa Driven Rhymes Uplifted' (K.D.R.U). In 1996 Dam Native won 'Best Video' at the Flying Fish awards for their single 'Behold My Kool Style'.
