Paul Hillier
Paul Hillier (b. 1949 in Dorchester, England) is a conductor, director and baritone vocalist. He is active in both early music and contemporary art music, particularly that of Steve Reich and Arvo Pärt. In 1974, he co-founded Hilliard Ensemble, an early music male vocal quartert, in 1989 he founded Theatre of Voices, a contemporary vocal ensemble, and since 2001, he has been artistic director and conductor of the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir.
