Swingin' Thing was founded in 1985 and hit the Sunset Strip in 1988 with their Hard Rock / 80s Hairmetal band style.Playing at sold out clubs every nite the boyz became cult in Hollywood. In 1991 they had a chance to hit big when they signed a contract with Monster Records, a recordlabel from Japan, where they released a 5 Track EP and did a tour thru Japan.One year later they signed a deal with Hollywood Records and Virgin Publishing as The Things. 6 years later they signed a deal with Bombastic Plastic label, but things didn't turn out, as we all know during the 90s Grunge hit the world.
