Singer Cormac Kenevey was born in Dublin and was introduced to jazz at a very early age by his pianist father. He took early influence from recordings of Mel Torme, Peggy Lee, Weather Report, The Crusaders and Frank Sinatra amongst others. Cormac began studying classical clarinet at the age of 12 and subsequently was involved in many ensembles as a clarinettist including the Royal Irish Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra.
