Country music singer and American Idol hopeful, Kristy Lee Cook (born January 18, 1984) is from the town of Selma, Oregon which is two hours and 45 minutes south of Eugene, just north of the California border. Indicative of a town with only 2000 residents, Kristy's family lived in a log cabin in the woods and raised horses. She has one older brother and one older sister. Her amazing vocal talent was quick to be discovered.
