Swedish organist and Hammond master, born in 1943, died 2010. Played with Janne Carlsson (aka Loffe Carlsson) in duo Hansson & Karlsson in the mid 70's. Did several hours of recordings with Jimi Hendrix who much appreciated the humble swedish organist. Bo Hansson is most famous for his solo records, Magician's Hat, The Lord Of The Rings, Attic Thoughts and Watership Down. Bo Hansson is said to have donated his Hammond organ (did he have only one?) to Eric Malmberg of Sagor & Swing, a band that have continued in the tradition of Hansson & Karlsson.
