This singer/songwriter has the style and sound reminiscent of the past, a voice with a core of grit and soul dipped in honey sweetness. Her artistry and style was built from the environment of her hometown: Detroit Michigan, otherwise known as Motown. The niece of a Baptist preacher, Terry began her musical journey singing in her uncle’s church. By her early teens this songbird was performing in the regionally known band Tri-Star as well as recording background for artists such as Simply Red.
