The Fisher Family (from Scotland) have become respected traditional and contemporary folk-singers. Archie Fisher (born 1939) sings the old songs, as well as writing his own; Ray Fisher sings the old ballads in a magnificent voice; Cilla Fisher, with her husband Artie Tresize, performs both traditional and contemporary music as well as a large repertoire of children's music. The Fisher siblings occasionally unite for tours or special appearances, but most of their recorded material is separate.
